What is KanjiN?

KanjiN is a handwritten kanji practice app. Instead of tapping through flashcards, you write each character yourself, which is how kanji actually stick. It recognizes your handwriting, so you learn by doing.

It covers the 1,026 kanji taught in Japanese elementary school (grades 1 to 6), Kanken levels 10 to 5, and JLPT N5 to N3. There are no ads. The app is free to download. Today's Drill, Today's Challenge and the Skill Check are free, and a one-time purchase (Unlock Everything) opens all drills. There is no subscription.
